Get to know your neighborhood cake designer

Hey neighbor! My name is Samantha, it's a pleasure to meet you. I've been a professional cake decorator since 2012, making all kinds of cakes for any and all occasions.

 

I started my career in cake decorating all the way back in high school where I did my first wedding cake alongside former executive pastry chef Tracey Gotshall of the Hotel Hershey. She pushed me to continue my education in pastry arts at The Restaurant School in Philadelphia.

Directly after college, I began work as a cake decorator in my hometown of Lititz, PA! Over the years, I've had the privilege of being a decorator for The Pennsylvania Bakery, and Sugar Whipped Bakery until I moved into your neighborhood! In the fall of 2018, I took over as the cake decorator for Yori's Church Street Bakery in downtown West Chester where I was able to push my abilities to all new levels.

 

Since the summer of 2022, I made the decision to step back from decorating professionally and began making cakes for our neighbors out of our home.
